I will overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
