Agencies in Tasmania are attempting to pinpoint a rosy sludge that has surfaced on a isolated coast, with certain experts worried it could be an algae outbreak.

"So the state needs to send a clear message here, the government and the regulators need to react to this. We need to examine the samples we've taken and we need to put word out the public here," she emphasized.
She said she had concerns for public safety after noticing a prickling feeling along her limbs and skin while being sprayed with affected seawater.
